Back to School

Philadelphia schools start next week and here at Dignity Housing, we are working with our families to ensure all of our children are ready. Our friends at Rubye’s Kids and Cradles to Crayons have once again donated backpacks filled with school supplies. Our case managers are also working with the Department of Education’s Philadelphia’s Homeless Children’s Initiative to ensure our residents have school uniform vouchers and other resources for school expenses. If our families are in need of additional financial assistance, they can apply for Dignity’s Alicia Christian Education and Life Skills Scholarship.

Next week also start’s Dignity’s After School Enrichment Program, which is open to all the children at Dignity and alumni of our programs. The Dignity Housing After School Enrichment Program is designed to address the needs of at-risk homeless youth and we need your help to run it.
