Mission and Accomplishments
Our Mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by providing safe, decent affordable housing, promoting self-sufficiency, and creating opportunities beyond expectations.
Providing safe, decent affordable housing:
Dignity Housing provides safe, decent affordable housing to both families and single adults. Many of Dignity’s clients have experienced multiple episodes of homelessness or chronic instability. At Dignity, residents are provided safe, decent affordable housing as the first step to becoming productive, healthy individuals and families.
Promoting Self-Sufficiency:
Dignity Housing realizes that affordable housing alone will not move individuals and families out of poverty. For that reason, Dignity’s provides housing in combination with supportive services designed to promote the self sufficiency of our residents. Our supportive services model encourages residents to be actively involved in setting goals - first to achieve daily stability through life skill development and health and wellness support. Once stable, clients tackle individual goals in areas of education, workforce development, employment, and securing permanent housing beyond Dignity.
Creating Opportunities:
Our program stresses that education and job skill development are necessary to advance beyond poverty. Learn about the opportunities offered to residents here.
