Dignity Celebrates Mother's Day: Connecting Community

Dignity Housing’s Mothers were able to join in fellowship while enjoying an excellent brunch, catered by Dignity resident, Marion (see our Spring Spotlight for more information about Marion). Institute for Children and Poverty Spotlights Dignity Housing: January 20, 2010

Institute for Children and Poverty hosted their national
conference, Children, Poverty, and Homelessness, to build
bridges, create dialogue, and encourage ideas as a response
to the nation's youth-homelessness issue in Philadelphia
beginning January 20th. Dignity was proud to participate
as a site-visit for conference-attendees to observe
how an organization is able to optimally offer transitional
services for the homeless.

 

 

 

Homeless Memorial Day: December 21, 2009, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

City Hall-Dilworth Plaza

We remembered homeless and formerly homeless Philadelphians who died during 2009 and called for a renewed commitment to end homelessness.

Dignity's Brazilian Drumline will perform at this vibrant community event that features live entertainment, delicious food, great shopping, kid's activities and more! Dignity will also be celebrating the success of the fundraising drive for the After-School Program Reconstruction Project.
